The quality control officer will be in charge for the quality control and assurance at the factory. This majorly entails the entire maintenance of quality coffee standards all through the processing and handling of the coffee at the factory.

  • Will be responsible for coffee laboratory at factory.
  • Will be responsible for all the equipment and human resource in the laboratory at the factory
  • Will be in charge of  strengthening both staff  for coffee laboratory  at the factory  and also support  the farmer’s capacity to comply to the different coffee quality standards
  • Will have to develop coffee quality management policies that will later be implemented as quality standards
  • Ensure the conformance to quality standards during delivery and processing
  • Will make sure that the coffee is stored in the best conditions at the ware house for quality purposes
  • Will on a monthly basis provide quality status  reports to management 
  •  Will be responsible for facilitating quality management trainings at the factory
  • Will carry out inspections during the processing of the coffee at the factory.
  • Will work together with the Roast Master in carrying out coffee sampling and testing
  • Will organize daily cupping sessions
  • Will manage the preparation of samples
  • Will be the lead and ensure the implementation of the quality control procedures 
  • Will develop a coffee quality management database
  • Any other duties as assigned by the factory administrator

Required experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years working in a coffee factory setting


  • A  degree in food processing and quality management
