1. The Ministry of Finance, planning & Economic Development has allocated funds to be used for acquisition of a standby generator.

2. The Ministry of Finance, planning &now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provisions of the above described item.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic bidding procedures contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of public Assets act, 2003, and are open to all bidders in Uganda.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Ministry of Finance, Planning & Economic Development, procurement and disposal Unit and inspect the bidding documents at the addresses given below in No. 7(a) from 9:00am to 5;oopm during working days.

A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below in No .7(a) and upon payment of a non refundable fee of UGX 50,000. The method of payment will be by bank deposit. Bidders shall obtain advice slips from the Cashier’s Office, 1^st Floor, Room No. 1.16. The document will be picked by self. No liability will be accepted fo9ar loss or late delivery.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address in no. 7(a) at or before 10:00am on 05/03/2013. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 5,000,000/= in form of Bank Guarantee only. Late Bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who 9achoose to attend at the address below in No. 7(a) at 10:30am on 05/03/2013.
